My passion for painting and love of animals began in my early childhood. I continued to develop my skills throughout my High School career. Upon graduating with a Certificate in Graphic Arts, I then attended Vesper George School of Art in Boston.
I worked as the Art Director for the New England Real Estate Journal for over 20 years before shifting gears to accommodate my family and work closer to home.
Soon after, I found myself drawn to my other passion, and began working in a local Animal Hospital. It was there that I found myself compelled to paint the animals that I love, and work with everyday.
I became a member of the Plymouth Guild for the Arts in 2008. I have done several workshops with local pastel artist, John Nutter, and continue to enhance myself as an artist in every opportunity that may arise.
My portraits are done in pastel, professionally matted and framed. I prefer to work from several photos of the subject matter in order to capture your pet's unique personality.
While I specialize in domestic pets, you may commission a painting of most subject matters from dogs, cats, horses, and birds to landscapes of your favorite places.
